In one of our brief breaks we explored a little deeper into one of our areas that we provide emergency plumbing services. This happened to be Orland Park, Illinois. Among the newly built structures that are around 143rd and La Grange, we made a discovery of Old Town Orland Park. Every town has its hidden treasures and Old Town didn't disappoint. To see the old town lined with large wooden framed houses and some old style brick structures was visual step into an alternate universe. Brilliant Plumbers found itself shifting back and forth between these two worlds as they collided.
Because we are plumbers, we had to start at the water tower of Orland Park. It sits there crowned with metal antennas defying the forces of nature, while bringing life keeping water to our homes. It broadcast to the world that its not afraid of judgement of its bias of he World's Golf Center of Orland Park. It wears its title proudly.
Later we passed by the regular spots of Orland Square Mall and even the Orland Park Village Center. Lastly, we turned onto 143 and there was the beginnings of the old town. Here is what we found. . .
